The Power Smart Forum 2007 welcomed more than 300 delegates from around B.C. for a full day of ideas and inspiration. The event focused on providing business representatives with resources, tools and support for improving energy efficiency in their workplaces.
The day-long series of instructional sessions, conducted by energy conservation leaders from BC Hydro and throughout North America, introduced attendees to the newest and most innovative ways to improve energy efficiency and conservation in the industrial and commercial sectors. In 2007, for the first time, the Forum was supported by two days of workshops that allowed participants to explore energy sustainability topics in greater depth. The Forum Trade Show was also expanded, and featured 27 exhibitors showcasing new products and technology to help businesses meet their energy efficiency targets.
The learning and networking will continue this year with the Power Smart Forum 2008.
