AFT developed an innovative high-performance rotor, enhancing the operation of pulp screens by allowing the speed of the rotor to be reduced. With this technology, introduced at Canfor’s Northwood kraft pulp mill, the potential electricity savings are $193,000 a year at that mill alone.
