Francis Manor
When residents at Cloverdale’s Francis Manor heard about BC Hydro’s Power Smart Product Incentive Program, they decided it was time to upgrade their lighting. Lighting products were supplied by West Coast Lighting, and installed by LA Industries. Ultimately, this upgrade reduced more than half of the lighting energy consumption for the entire complex.
Terrace & District Community Services Society
When Terrace refurbished the Almartin Building, which houses their offices, the lighting system needed major upgrading. This was accomplished through BC Hydro’s Power Smart Product Incentive Program. The lighting retrofit was performed by Powerflow Electric, with energy-efficient products supplied by E.B. Horsman & Son. The project has cut the Terrace’s lighting consumption by nearly one-third.
